Hello Lovely Ladies, It’s Friday already! I apologize for getting a late start on the Fashion Informant this week. We have been with internet half the speed of dial-up at best over the last week and that was a good day since we had looonnnngggg stretches of no internet or phone at all. Needless to say, it hasn’t been a very productive week. Thankfully we have four huge utility trucks on our street today and hopefully we’ll be up and running at full capacity by the weekend. Cross your fingers for me!!
I’m luke warm on this weeks outfit for a variety of reasons, number one is that my eyes look little crazy, really? What is up with that?
I’ve really loved the lace shorts trend but I’m not sure that the top was the best choice for this ensemble so I’ll be recreating a different look in the weeks to come. That and I’m not loving the night shots but we didn’t have much of a choice. It’s getting to the end of the school year already so my kids schedules are CRAZY…non-stop right now, naturally the weekly outfit was put on the back burner.
Even though I’m not wild about the outfit as a whole, I do love these tops from Express. They are so comfortable and the perfect wardrobe piece if you want something casual to throw on with a pair of jeans or dress it up with a nice pencil skirt. The only problem is that it wrinkles so easily.
A few months ago I wore a black top with a pair of gold color jeans. See outfit here.

I can’t believe you aren’t absolutely crazy about this outfit!! I LOVE it! I think the color green looks wonderful on you and those shorts are fabulous! I know what you mean about night time photos…I’m always trying to work mine into a very specific time of day. I’m going to have to go get me a pair of lace shorts!!

I am sorry to hear about the internet being slow – we are so used to having everything now that I am sure it’s driving me crazy. I think I would go nuts if I no internet access for a week. WOW, I love this outfit! The emerald top looks so good with the nude shorts and heels. I’ve been eyeing a pair of lace shorts but need to get more serious about my workouts before getting them.
